Marshall Township is located in Calhoun County in the south-central part of Michigan. It is situated just North of the City of Marshall and is positioned at the Crossroads of two major interstates, I-94 and I-69.

Marshall Township covers a total area of 31.5 square miles, with 31.1 square miles being land and 0.42 square miles (1.34%) being water. The Kalamazoo River flows from East to West across the Southern part of the Township.
