The Board of Review is appointed by the Township Board. The Board reviews property assessments and decides taxpayer appeals. The Board of Review for townships in Michigan is primarily governed by the General Property Tax Act (Act 206 of 1893). The Board meets each March to hear taxpayer appeals on values, classification, and exemptions.
